School Vision Screenings

We are pleased to inform you that our school will be hosting a Vision Screening Program for students in Pre-K through 8th grade on Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13, 2026.

This important program is provided through the Office of School Health (OSH) as part of a larger array of health and mental health services available to our school community. In coordination with OSH, Helen Keller International (HKI), a contracted optical vendor through the NYC Department of Education, will be providing vision services.

Vision screenings help identify students who may need further evaluation or support to ensure they are healthy and ready to learn.

If you do not wish for your child to participate in the vision screening, please call the main office and speak with Ms. Burgos, our Parent Coordinator, who will provide you with an opt-out form.
